Staff was helpful, property was well maintained. The pool and hot tub maintained and in good condition. Breakfast was great. The hotel is outdated and there is no elevator. The ice machine was not working

The staff was helpful. The elevator wasn't working and I was on the second floor, so that wasn't too great. I found 3 cans of empty twisted teas under my bed, so I'm not sure how well the room was cleaned prior to my stay. The location was convenient and it was affordable.

I booked this hotel thinking it was only 4 miles to Ridgefield, WA (as that is what Expedia indicated) after I booked I realized it was over an hour drive. It was a non-refundable booking, because I booked the same day, but IIeah L. said she would refund me due to my situation. I thought that was really kind of her as they did not have to do that. I will totally be staying there in the future based on this customer service. I did have to work through Expedia to get a refund, but they totally honored it as well. I am pleased with Expedia as well as the hotel. Thank you!!

Disclosure: I only had a single night stay. Staff seemed shorthanded, but provided highly exceptional customer service. The other guests had patience waiting for each other’s needs, so even the clients at the hotel made the experience a great one. It appeared to me that all clients appreciated their hospitality and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Upside: Pet-friendly, comfortable bed, helpful staff, fairly quiet. Downside: Room keycards had to be continually resynced so we could get in both the exterior door and our room - we reserved a room for two nights and had to "rekey" our keycards at least 3x each and we ended up going home early (before the 2nd night); one of those times was at 2am when I couldn't get back in the door after taking our dog out to do his business. Can't comment on other amenities - we didn't use the pool, gym, nor did we try the complimentary breakfast. Coffee was decent.

We found the room very comfortable, everything easy to use, and enjoyed our stay. On check in, we were handed two card keys but given no instructions about wifi, breakfast, location of our room, which we found unusual. Breakfast provided many options. The lady who replenished food during breakfast was memorable for her sweet smile and helpful disposition.
