We ended up staying here as a hail mary to salvage our long weekend in the area when our VRBO turned out to be a health hazard. Since we were traveling with a dog, our options were very limited in TC during a busy summer weekend. I have deep gratitude in my heart for the staff at this hotel for welcoming us in in the middle of the night while one of us (me) was coming down with the stomach flu, another was coming down from an allergic reaction to something at the disgusting VRBO, the dog needed to be accommodated, and we had two cars, bikes, and basically we were a traveling nightmare. The team really welcomed us in and did everything they could to help us get settled quickly, and, as a result, we were able to continue with our weekend plans and actually ended up having a pretty good stay! This hotel is clean and accommodating, and the rooms are entirely adequate. It is not super charming and requires updating, but the location in downtown TC, if that's helpful to you, is unmatched. And you know what? After the VRBO experience we had and the hot messes we were when we arrived in the middle of the night the reality is that the team and the hotel could have been a lot less and I would still be incredibly grateful and singing their praises. This place will take care of you and you'll be perfectly fine staying here. Tell them I said hey and thanks.

There is no hot water when we arrived. Waited for the whole day, still no progress. The staff is polite but not very helpful in providing alternative solutions. So we checked out early. Expedia contacted the hotel for refund and no one is answering the email or the phone call. So yeah, I got ghosted.
