"The Hideaway is a quaint cottage with outstanding cleanliness and amenities. The added touch of snacks waiting for us was so appreciated and welcomed. I also appreciated the flyers of local activities. Communication was excellent and very prompt…an added touch of hospitality. Neighbors were friendly and well accommodating while we were unloading. And York is a lovely city."

"This wasnt our first time staying in Sewerby but it was our first time at Oyster Cottage..... I can confidently say, it will not be our last.. "This is a beautiful cottage, clearly an older building but nicely renovated and in great condition. Hot tub and jacuzzi bath are both very good, and the champagne on arrival was very welcome! The location is at the end of a long track, so the cottage is secluded and quiet making for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Importantly the bed is also very comfortable and supportive, which is not something than can be said for every holiday rental! It is easy to get to the coastal paths for walking, and...

"Rachael and Rory were perfect hosts and were always there to assist us. The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. "Holly Cottage is a well equipped cottage, with everything you could need, in a very typical pretty Yorkshire village. Very comfortable, and a good wood burner in the sitting room, making it cosy, although the kitchen area was also so nice we spent a lot of time in there too. Very comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms too. Hutton Le Hole is a pretty village, with easy access to good roads for travel to the coast and York, but with plenty to do in the immediate area too, including Castle...

"The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
