Overall, it was good. We would definitely stay there again. Only negatives were that the bathroom wasn’t air conditioned, so was very humid, and we weren’t sure if the pool was ok (very cloudy). On the plus side, very helpful staff, great WiFi, handy water refill station in the lobby, very pretty hotel, hammock in room, private, parking lot, location, plenty of lights, good a/c, appreciated having a mini-fridge.

Over the last 40 years my wife and I have stayed in many hotels around the world. It would not be overstating it to say that our stay at the Mansion Merida Boutique Hotel was among the best we have stayed in. We were met on arrival by the owner, Raoul, who told us that the property, laid out around two courtyards, one containing a most welcome pool, used to be his grandfathers house. The rooms and the service were exceptional. A visit to Merida would not be complete without a night or two here.
