“This little cottage was perfect for my wife and I. We started coming to the Cape in the Fall because the Summers are too crowded for us there. This cottage was nearly perfect for our stay. It is nestled in a small loop off of the road where there are a few cottages. Not bad in October but probably more bustling in the Summer. “Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely, two-level home. It’s very clean with comfy beds. We had nice evening walks in their quaint neighborhood; it was also a convenient drive into historic Sandwich. The only bummer was thinking that we’d be able to use the kayaks & canoe. My three teenagers were very disappointed. The site should make it clear that those are only available between Memorial Day & Labor Day. Otherwise, great place!”

“The property was in a great location, not a long walk to a small beach. We had a group together for a memorial service, and were able to sleep 16. It was clean and pleasant. Some tips: - the seafood store down the road is amazing and cute - if you are a chef type, bring knives - 2 bathrooms for 16 ppl can get a little tight, so make sure your group is ready to share the space, etc. Overall, a great and affordable way to get a group of ppl together for a quiet gathering. Thanks!”

“It exceeded all our expectations! The house is charming and so thoughtfully equipped! Every need had been anticipated! The view was spectacular! A favorite memory is the nightly fire pit with the stars twinkling above and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore! Truly sublime! I'm also grateful our pup was made so welcome! This enchanting home nestled in the woods is only minutes from grocery, hardware, and pharmacy stores. We even found an amazing vegan bakery nearby! We highly recommend……

“Our family rented this house for a short 4 night stay to see Cape Cod. It was a good property. Quiet neighborhood. It was plenty of room for our family of 6. The owner was very kind to allow us to keep the pool open and heated for our middle of Oct. trip. Great stay overall. I would recommend bringing your own washcloths. I could not find any at this property. I guess I’m just weird to expect that to be at a property. Not sure. In my opinion this property is a bit dated and overpriced. But……

“My husband and I visited in late October and were so happy we chose this home. The coastal view was unreal and the seals popping up were so special and we got a lot of enjoyment watching the local bird life as well! On a clear night the moon and stars shown so brightly over the water it was incredible. On our last day we chatted with the neighbor who is also the owner and learned some fun information about the house and life on the coast. Please know that the road to get to the house in unpaved……
