“Hi! Overall, it was a wonderful location and as described. Very cute and homey, the large projection tv is really a nice feature for the evening. There were sufficient cooking items and we didn't really need a microwave, understood with a small kitchen. Heating was perfect, supplies and towels, etc, clean and provided. A few notes for the hosts: Yes, we could have called, but we didn't want to be disturbed, so that's on us. The queen bed was very uncomfortable unsupportive and made of soft……

“It is rustic, needs updates, not fancy but location to Mt Lassen is ideal. Offers lots of levels of camping from tent options, RV spots to little cabins. The host is helpful and attentive.”

“We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter……
