Abode at the Beach is in the middle of it all. Its great location gives you the ability to park your car and explore all that Manzanita has to offer on foot for your entire stay. This bright cheerful duplex retreat is four blocks to the beach and one block to downtown Manzanita.

With the open floor plan on the main level, you will be able to spend time together while cooking dinner, playing board games at the table, watching TV (streaming available) in the living room, or just relaxing by the gas fireplace. There is a great fenced-in side yard for the kids and dog to play in while you put your feet up and enjoy some quiet time inside after a long fun-filled day at the beach or to get away to when the wind picks up at the beach. Head to the garage and you will find a kids' game table.

Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms and two baths. The main bedroom has a private bath with a brand new TV with a built-in Firestick to watch your favorite shows. The kids' bedroom has a bunk bed with a trundle bed underneath and has a TV/DVD player for the kiddos to watch their favorite movies.

THINGS TO KNOW

This home will have a seasonal gas grill that is generally available from May through September, depending on inclement weather.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nicely appointed home, close to beach and town.

Enjoyed our stay - property management firm was helpful. Kitchen was well stocked, home was well appointed and location was great - 1 block to Main Street (Laneda) and 4 blocks to beach. Would recommend.

Wonderful

I took my 80 year old mom and our dogs to the beach. This place was exactly as stated. Very convenient to everything and walking distance. We had a wonderful time. Great set up for family with dogs.

The location was great and the fenced backyard was perfect for us and our dog. Future renters should be aware to bring their own shower gel, hair dryer, plastic wrap/ foil, zip lock/ Tupperware (if planning to cook or store left overs)

Comfortable, Inviting, and Conveniently located!

We loved how close this house was to Laneda, right down the street from the Rusty Moose restaurant which made it incredibly easy to walk to anything we wanted to do/see. The house is very comfortable; there were plenty of spare pillows and blankets for us folks who like lots of blankets on them. Also, I slept in one of the king sized beds and there was a memory foam topper of some sort on it, I was in heaven! Windows were easy to open and close, the furnishings while not exactly "luxury" were very nice and comfortable/functional as well. We loved our stay there and would happily stay there again. The only negatives are very small and nitpicking- it's kind of a drag to have to park one car in the garage and the othet in front of the garage if you bring 2 cars, but there's really no other option and this was a very minor inconvenience. I also was not crazy about having to be out of the house by 10 the next morning, was hoping for 11, but I understand that they need time to clean it (and they obviously do a thorough job of that). Overall a great experience and the communication from Vacasa was just what we needed, thanks guys :)

Wonderful property

Clean, well stocked and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable and two and a half baths were a plus. Nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy the sunshine with our dog. Close proximity to the beach and town…a few easy walking blocks. A great stay and we would definitely rent this place again.

Perfect for beach getaway.

Conveniently located with great floor plan in an affordable price range. I’d stay here over and over again. Manzanita is a little short on restaurants that were actually open but we enjoy cooking so it didn’t matter.

Great property in idyllic location

Property has a great livable layout. Kitchen is well supplied with cookware and utensils. Everything was very clean on our arrival. The fenced Yard was perfect of managing our dog. Would definitely stay here again.

Locked out numerous times 😣😣😣

The key pad didn’t work properly. Several times I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with Vacasa changing the code, which would work once and then not again. The agents tried to get me into the lockbox, that didn’t work, then they tried the garage code and that didn’t work. The agent promised to get someone out there asap to fix the lock. No one came or called me back. I came to the beach very stressed out and this was agitating and unacceptable! I finally just left the back door unlocked when I went to the beach so that I wouldn’t spend another frustrating 1/2 hour on the phone. I need to have a partial refund to account for this inconvenience and frustration. This house is clean and pleasant, and I urge you not to hire Vacasa as the “host.”

Great Location

Abode at the beach offers a nicely updated duplex with everything you need, located in the heart of Manzanita. Easy walk to the beach, grocery stores, and shops. The fenced yard was a real plus for kids and dogs. It was a little tight for 8 people, but doable for a shorter stay.

Our stay at Adobe at the Beach was fantastic! Your home is beautifully appointed with a great kitchen and dining/living room. Imagine if there was no ant problem, if the towels weren’t stained, if the tv instructions matched the equipment provided, if there weren’t personal family photos on display in several places, if there was cable tv or anything to indicate what tv programming was available, if any, if the candles everywhere weren’t prohibited to be used, if the complicated washing machine had a manual or instructions…We had seen the review from last month, and so had decided to bring my effective and non-toxic ant bait solution and cotton balls just in case. You’re welcome. Two days in, problem solved after major countertop ant parties - ewww. Oh - also discovered after talking to our ‘neighbors’ that the adjoining duplex rented for almost half what we paid. Positives: good location, kitchen well stocked with equipment (but scant wine glasses), small fenced dog area, garage for one car.
