"When we first got there it was a bit mixed up, a nightmare, but that was down yo me. The lady was very understanding and helpful, it was as if nothing was yo much trouble, friendly staff. Very clean, hot tub was amazing. Thankyou, only one little complaint, the guy that was going round cleaning the hot tub. The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury

8/10 Good

"Historic hotel, well located in centre of town. Parking available. Decor definitely dated but had the essentials. No elevator, but a rarity in British hotels."

Cromwell's Tap House

8/10 Good

"Only stayed one night but will definitely be returning.set in an ideal position for visiting Central Shrewsbury. Room was dated but as expected from a 15th century building.lovely comfortable 4 post bed and clean shower area.Pub was friendly and welcoming and food was delicious. We had a very enjoyable short break."

Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals

10/10 Excellent

"5th stay here. Always a lovely visit. Highly recommend breakfast. Clean room and nice amenities. Had to use the overflow parking around the back. But its a better spot less crowded and very handy if you're staying in the annex building which we prefer."

St Nicholas

10/10 Excellent

"We recently stayed at the St Nicholas Boutique Hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The room was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of comfort and room to relax. In the morning, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the perfect start to our day. A special shout-out to Brush, who makes the absolute best Porn Star Martinis at the bar! Throughout our entire stay, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We loved our short time here and will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future. Highly recommended!"

The lion hotel

8/10 Good

"Location was perfect for Welshpool. Charlie was welcoming, efficient and friendly. We had lunch when we arrived. The food was excellent and inexpensive. Breakfast was not as good as the staff member was inattentive. I chose from a varied menus of cooked breakfast scrambled egg on toast which was served badly cooked and dry on dry toast. There was also a selection of cereals and juices to choose from. The room was small but well decorated and comfortable with a bright and clean en suite. The bar was welcoming and well stocked. Overall a good experience and I would definitely return but without choosing scrambled egg for breakfast."

The Dragon Hotel

8/10 Good

"All staff were extremely helpful and friendly in all areas of the hotel. Unfortunately there was no working radiators on the top floor and the room was cold. There was a small electric fan heater in the room which we cleaned prior to as it it was covered in dust. My fault but I hadnt realised that there wasn't a proper shower in a room described as a premium. The kettle was dirty with coffee stains on the outside and generally appeared old. I wasn't happy to use it until I cleaned it. Food and drinks all excellent."
