“This historic location was an amazing home base for our girl’s trip to NE Iowa. It’s clean and such a unique place to stay. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for the four of us. Our favorite part was people watching from the sun room area, although margaritas on the back patio were a close second. :)”

It was very clean and well decorated.We did have trouble with having enough hot water for the whirlpool tub but the host said he would have it fixed for the next guest. “We had a nice stay at Black Bear Cabin. Short distance to tourist attractions. Hot tub was enjoyed and the beds were comfortable. Some things that might help improve the stay for others would be: dish towels for easier kitchen clean up, ability to plug in deck lighting, hooks or shelving in rooms for towels and clothes, end tables in the queen bed rooms, and fresh batteries for basement remote. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking. Great place for meditating and quality time. ”
