“Great place! Easy entry on the ground level. Couldn't be any closer to the shops and local hangouts. Very comfortable and relaxing. ”

“Wonderful historic location. Host provided thoughtful extras that we didnt think to bring. Our only suggestion would be if you prefer a softer mattress I would bring a mattress pad.”

“Fantastic location and cool history!Beds and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic! Lots of towels too!Only downside is it is hard to get airflow in there.And the table in the 2nd room (with 2 queen beds) is hard because the lighting isn't strong in there.We knew this in advance - its a kitchenette, not a kitchen! The counter ice machine was really helpful!We loved it and will be back!”

“Good location, a bit noisier than I expected due to trains during the night and some construction. Close to Yellow River Forest, Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak State Park. Comfortable furniture and bed. Kitchen area includes microwave and small fridge, no sink. Looked like a nice fireplace which I did not use. Shopping, but few restaurants of note on main street; a couple of bars and one gourmet store. Kwik Star right across the street which was convenient. Host was friendly and accessible.”

“Well maintained home. Very clean and had everything we needed. It’s walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. Great to sit on the screened in porch, look at the river, enjoy a cup of coffee. We had 10 adults for three days and never felt crowded. Plenty of areas to sit and relax. We will definitely stay here again.”
