"The first things my children said when we arrived is that it looks like a small castle. Overall, the home was well stocked with towels, and everything was in working order. This is our first VRBO, so I cannot comment on cleanliness standards fully, but from what we could tell, the place was clean. "Lots to love in this authentic mid century modern home with beautiful natural materials in original condition. The heating was a little quirky with the lower level bedroom significantly warmer than the 2 upstairs, and the courtyard landscaping was overgrown and neglected, but as it was too cold to be outside, we greatly enjoyed the interior. We speculated that this home had been custom designed and it was a real treat to see so many original features preserved."

"This was just the right size for my family of four. (would work for 6 as well). Nicely redone. We will stay here again if in Cedar Rapids area. Owner is working on a fire pit out in back. Will be a nice addition when finished. It was centrally located to all the activities and shops we visited."
