In town celebrating our daughters graduation from Emory & Henry College. Amazing house. The owner thought of every detail. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The house was immaculate. If you are thinking of renting this house you will not be disappointed!

Time with cherished friends
We attended Ring of Fire Johnny Cash Show at the Barter Theater and followed that with dinner at The Tavern. Both were a stupendous experience. The next day we visited Abington Vineyard, The day was sunny and warm and the wine delightful, especially Red Hawk. We spent 3 nights as we did last year and love the home and all it has to offer.

One of the Best Rental Properties We Have Ever Stayed At!
Everything about this property was perfect! The owners have thought of everything that someone could possibly need during a vacation stay. The cabin was super clean, the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and coffee were well stocked. The cabin is super cozy and comfortable and has that perfect woodsy feel. The view from the property up in hills was spectacular. The firepit and spa were wonderful to use outside. Communication was quick and easy, check in with the digital keypad got us in within seconds. Bottom line : if you’re staying in the area, just book this place. You will not regret it.

Virginia Creeper weekend get-a-way
Great stay in a beautiful cabin with a view. The house is just as amazing in person as it looks online. The beds are comfortable, the house was immaculate, and it had everything our family of six needed. 15 minutes drive to downtown Abington and 25 minutes to Damascus made it close enough to enjoy the VC Trail, Abington Vineyards and dinner at Martha Washington Inn. The hot tub was a favorite place to relax after riding the trail. Chrissy was an attentive host and helped to make our trip a special one.

Terrific cabin!!
The property is easy to get to and in a terrific central location for everything we wanted to do. The Channels is a must do hike (use Google Map, not Siri or you end up in someone’s driveway), the Virginia Creeper Trail, Grayson Highlands National Park, and more. The cabin comes with everything you need. It was perfect for us (two couples). They had privacy with the bedroom downstairs and the kitchenette down there for morning coffee and we had the upstairs bedroom and could sleep in! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay.

Quiet Relaxing Get Away
Cabin is a beautiful two level place with lots of room. There are three bedrooms, 3 full baths and extra furniture (bedding) for the kids (if needed). Hot tub too, was very relaxing after a hour it was hard to want to get out but had to eventually. There’s TV’s upstairs and downstairs. WiFi, Kitchen had everything you could need to prepare, eat, and clean up with. Only thing you needed to bring was your own food/drinks. Beautiful scenic view from the half wrap around porch where sitting and relaxing while listening to the birds and nature as you take in the hillsides around the place. You are not far from bigger cities, Marion to the North and Abingdon to the South for any excursions or shopping needed to be done. We had a great relaxing time. Great place for a couple or friends getaway!

Property was very nice. Location is excellent. We did local sightseeing of the college, The Channels and The Devil's Bathtub hiking trails. Might suggest better quality TP as it was very thin.

Seclusion, relaxation and peaceful
Property was emasculate, clean and all of the little touches they added made us know they put lots of thought and care into it. They most travel because they though of everything a person traveling would need and placed it in the house for you to use. I even liked the Q-tips in the jar in the bathroom. So well thought out. Hot tub towels hang by the hot tube. It was raining so we didn’t get to injoy the fire pit or the grill. The kitchen was well equipped with nice utensils and cooking pans. Great coffee machine and coffee supplies. Two things I didn’t like was that I saw someone was parking on their grass out front. Please show respect and don’t trash their pretty grass. The other item was having a ring camera to close to the hot tub. It incroches on a renters privacy. I would recommend some small blinder on one side of the ring camera to provide some privacy for the guest while in the hot tub. Other than the ring location, everything was perfect. We wanted to unplug, find peace and quiet, see some great views and have some relaxed family time. It was perfect for our two couples and we even had room for a 3rd couple if we wanted. We will definitely rent the cabin again.
