I actually ended my trip early because of how horrible this place is. From the outside looking in the place is aesthetically appealing with the whole Little Havana theme. However, that’s the only thing nice about it. The inside is filthy, bugs everywhere!!! I thought I was getting ate up by mosquitoes but no it was FLEAS! Even after switching rooms we didn’t even get unpack before noticing fleas in the new room as well. I ended trip early because I refused to stay another night getting bit up by fleas so I slept in the car my last night. Even after having video and picture proof I wasn’t offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience. As if the bugs weren’t bad enough the property has no elevator and guests are expected to haul their own luggage up and down 3flights of stairs if they’re any floor but the first! The noise I expected from the reviews so it didn’t really bother me even though there is a draw bridge the goes off about everything 30min-1hr. The AC was trash because you can’t control how cool your room is even though you’re in hot humid Miami with a ceiling fan that is only good for decoration because it barely works. The toilet wouldn’t stop running and the bed creaked every time I turned. It seemed like a lot to ask of them when asking for towels. I also found a pill on the floor of the corner of the room from a previous stay. I will say the outside is beautiful and makes you feel like you’re in a tropical stay. He showed me his phone and it said $42-I said nope, the ride from the airport to the hotel was $42 and that was 25-30 minutes! Gave him $35 and felt totally taken!!
