“We had such a peaceful, relaxing stay! Being surrounded by nature and having the comfort of the cabin was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful, as was the cabin itself. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked. Check-in was easy and Erika was responsive to communications when I had a couple little questions. The outdoor picnic table and Adirondack chairs were great, and we loved the boardwalk and quiet beach. So glad this stay was dog-friendly! Would stay again.”

“Perfect place to get away and un wind.Bed was waay comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed.Breezes from lake view in kitchen in the back and from the front porch. “We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin. I grew up in the atea and am very familiar with the location, so although I had never been back by this group of cabins before, I knew the general location would be wonderful to stay in. The view is gorgeous here, especially the sunsets. The water is super shallow and my kids loved walking out as far as they could. They also loved playing in the sand on the beach. We had unfortunate timing that coincided with mayfly season (for anyone unfamiliar, you will……

“This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The walks on the beach and bonfire under the stars were incredible, as was kayaking on the lake. It is relatively centrally located, close to good public beaches on both Great and small lakes, and while you do have to drive to get places - it's the UP - the drives are beautiful and its a great home base for day trips; we went to Pictures……

“This cabin was amazing! The owners had everything in the cabin that you needed! So many special things like fire starters, flavored syrup for your coffee, s’mores box and more! As soon as you walk in the cabin you feel at home! My sister and I loved it so much we had a hard time leaving! We will definitely be back! “Lovely location with beautiful sunset view, beds were comfortable, plenty of fans and there was a space heater for a cool morning. It was nice to have Netflix but there was only 2 users allowed. Might want to consider investing in a better Netflix subscription. ”

“Beautiful spot and exactly how it was described. The solar power system worked great and lasted a while. The lake was peaceful and calm. The hosts were great and allowed privacy with a separate drive. Nice remote area. Great scenery, tranquil, and peaceful. Great place to stay and definitely would stay again. The hosts are easy to get ahold of and super helpful about the area and the cabin! ”

“This property was a wonderful base camp for all of our adventures in the U.P. We also really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and personal touches as well as the back porch lakeside vibe. The only problem we encountered was with the ac unit. It was an unusually hot day for this area when we first arrived and the unit kept throwing a code.The owner was very responsive and helpful, visiting us personally to make sure everything was OK. Would recommend!!”

“Wonderful location right on the lake! Kayaks and a canoe are available to use on the property. The cabin is clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the big windows in the living room where we could enjoy watching the wildlife and the lake right outside the windows! Both Gladstone and Escanaba have a wonderful sandy beach, one of the best ones we have seen in Michigan. Lots to do in the area!”

“We had a group of nine and had a blast staying at the house. The house itself is old and very noisy when you walk around but the outdoor spaces made up for it. We loved the decks, hot tub, fire pit and private beach. It was a great location to explore the UP. Our dogs loved it too ”
