This is a great property in a very good and safe location to stay at in Oakland, very close to downtown. The manager on duty, Kevin, very pleasant and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, well-maintaned property. But on the second night of my stay, the people in the property next door to the hotel decided to have one heck of a party with a live band. Apparently it was a special occasion because they started in the afternoon and kept it up 'til 2:30am. Just judging from the singing and shouting they must have had several cases of tequila. I'm not going to judge the music because it was pretty good, but even with earplugs I didn't sleep much at all. About midnight I pulled the cushions off the armchair, dragged them into the bathroom, shut the bathroom door and managed to get a couple hours of sleep in there. On a normal night, though, the rooms are well-lit with enough electrical outlets for your devices, a heat/AC unit, refrigerator, microwave, and a very clean bathroom with a nice shower.

Bay Bridge Inn was a nice , well kept place. Staff were very friendly. Very close to the local Kaiser Hospital I was visiting. Very reasonable pricing for a basic room.

Stay here regularly - Staff is ALWAYS amazing. Rooms - ALWAYS clean. Convenient to Bart - anywhere you want to go. So easy. And the rates, can’t beat it. Note: my favorite restaurant within walking distance is Co Nam (Vietnamese) - for morning coffee and a bagel, Wise Sons - also walking distance. For price, convenience. Best value.

The manager was helpful in calling for a taxi for my need to go to and return from the hospital for a medical procedure at the nearby hospital. He answered all my questions and acceded to my requests. Although the room was basic, but with fridge and microwave, it was clean and comfortable and had all I needed. The shower worked well. The light in the room was superb. The location was quiet. It was helpful that there was an obvious recycling bin for things I wanted to recycle. I recommend this place. I took my own food since I was staying for two days and was supposed to rest. There was plenty of parking.

A great find

Always clean, convenient to BART-get anyway on the Bay Area. Stayed here several times and the gentleman who works the front desk is amazing. Always friendly, remembers me—even if it’s been 6 or more months. Will definitely stay again.
