The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"My husband and I stayed to visit with friends who were staying nearby. It was a lovely quiet retreat. This is our second time staying with this host. Would not hesitate to rent again. I left behind a pillow and they very kindly put it on the porch well packaged so I could stop by and pick it up, which is much appreciated"

"Property was as depicted. Nice amenities, particularly impressed they drain the water to the hot tub after each stay (perhaps overkill but pretty cool nonetheless). We enjoyed the fire pit and watching roku tv in the living room. Internet wasn't that fast but it was ok enough for streaming tv. Thanks to the hosts for a nice stay hope we can come back sometime! "

"This house was great and most importantly spacious enough for two young families with kids to share for a weekend. Although we didn't bring our dogs this time, it's great to know that's an option. And I do have to say that there was no evidence of former pet guests if that is of any concern to potential bookers- very clean, no stains, no smells.We have family in the area and have already talked about booking future stays now that we have young kids and need more space than staying with relatives tends to afford. "

"This property was perfect for a quiet getaway. The lake is 7 minutes away The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean. The young adults enjoyed the game room on the first floor. My husband I enjoyed the covered front porch. The hot tub was a very nice touch. It sure felt like home. "

"Wonderful location - nice house. Could have used a few additions: sleeps 17 but only plates and bowls for 14; only 2 noodles for pool and no other indoor or outdoor add-ons for kids; shower in downstairs bath does not get hot even though sink water is very hot. We had a nice relaxing week."

"Overall, Ive stayed here several times at this point and ive always adored the stay. The only issue with this trip was the air hockey table didnt produce any air. But every other ammenity was perfectly functional. It was such a small detail that we forgot about it after the first hour we were there. "The property was fantastic! We had 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 3-8 and felt like we had plenty of space. It was great having the mini golf and tennis courts right next to the house. The indoor pool was great and bigger than expected. The 9 hole par 3 links style course was absolutely amazing and was well kept, with holes ranging from 80 yards to 180 yards. Greens run slower but the conditions were great. House is about 5 mins from Deep Creek State Park and 20 minutes to Swallow Falls. Also enjoyed the huge yard and fire pit while watching the sunsets. I would definitely return in the future!"

"Perfect house on the lake, small and cozy. I brought our fishing boat 16.5’ to get out on the lake for a few days, just enough water to get to dock. Fall season the water is down but it all worked. We would stay again. Check in check out was very easy with text messages from Red Barn."
