Was pleasantly surprised by the room we rented. Room number 1. Had a private washroom, fridge everything we needed for a 2 night stay at the beach. The bed could be a queen to give 2 adults a little more room. We were grateful for the air conditioner and coffee machine. They supplied a couple bottles of water, some granola bars which help when heading to the beach. Would be nice to have a patio door to go outside from the room but it was just a short distance to front door. The common area was pleasant but very stuffy and and damp but was told they just cleaned up after flooding so I'm sure a dehumidifier will solve the issue. Close to beach, right beside a great restaurant, parking right out front. Would stay again in room 1. The gentleman who helped us get to our room was pleasant and very helpful. Everyone was friendly.

It looks like this hotel is being refurbished, but our room hadn’t been hit yet. Old carpet (which seemed clean, but didn’t look clean) and duct tape holding down the carpet at the threshold. One very weird thing is that the elevator to the parking garage stops below the garage and then requires you to pull your luggage up a few steps. Or you can go out the main entrance and use a ramp down to the garage. Just a note that the hotel’s area of town is a bit seedy, not dangerous—just populated by some troubled people. The hotel seems like an inexpensive option when you need to be in downtown London, ON.
