9/10 Wonderful! (906 reviews)
Our stay at Ola Boutique Hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. What should have been a relaxing vacation turned into a stressful experience due to multiple issues.
The biggest problem was the parking. It is poorly designed, extremely tight, and only has about 7–8 spaces for the entire hotel, which employees also use. Despite paying $25 per day, guests are expected to go to the front desk and request a parking spot if none are available, which is unacceptable.
At check-in, we were unexpectedly told our reservation had been split into two rooms, meaning we had to move halfway through our stay without any prior notice. This was unprofessional and took valuable time away from our vacation.
The room itself had several issues. The refrigerator didn’t work, the bathroom design caused water to flood the floor after every shower, and the AC unit was installed directly above the bed, blowing cold air on us all night. There was also visible mold around the AC and in the bathroom, which was especially concerning since my partner has respiratory issues.
Although the staff moved us to another room the next day and refunded only 50% of our parking fees, the second room had the same AC placement, mold issues, and poor air circulation. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had.
