The actual bar and restaurant was really nice but the rooms definitely need an update. The furniture was old and not in a vintage/good way. The cleanliness was OK but nit thorough (see pictures). Small details could also be improved e.g. have a toilet roll holder on the wall rather than having to ...

Beautifully refurbished cottage in the centre of a delightful village. After a long and tiring journey the cottage was warm and welcoming, the beds were clean and extremely comfortable and the hot water for showers was plentiful.
