It's in a gated community with a large playground and an enormous pool, but the cabin itself is beautifully hidden in the woods surrounded by wildlife! It is close to Lake catherine state park and Garvan Gardens which we love. My son is already talking about going back!”

“There was a housekeeping problem when we arrived but not the fault of the homeowner. The house was very nice and comfortable enough for five adults and two kids. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds also comfortable. the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We hosted our 2025 Family reunion in HSV. Adults and infants traveled from NYC, LA, San Diego, N. Dakota.... The property was perfect. Enough bedrooms for all and great common areas for games and fun. The big kitchen wa a hit as we prepared meals and warmed up bottles. The water front allowed for pontoon boat docking and we enjoyed the warm water of Lake Balboa. Check in and check out was a breeze. Voted most likely to host the next reunion!”
