Luxurious condo with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths in the heart of Mission Hills/Hillcrest. Airbed and a Pack n' Play available to sleep a total of 6-7 people. Our location is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in San Diego and is surrounded by great shops, restaurants, parks and entertainment. Minutes away from the Downtown/Gaslamp district, Old Town, Little Italy, S.D. Convention Center, World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa park, Museums, Sea World, Beaches, Lego Land, Hiking and more.

This condo is brand new and was finished in February 2020. There is a spacious balcony with nice views of Point Loma and the Mission Hills surrounding neighborhood. There is a common area for relaxation and sunbathing. Two car garage is available for parking onsite. Washer and Dryer in unit as well. The condo is perfect for a quiet family vacation. We do not host guests to have parties.

Each condo is dedicated and full access.

Hillcrest/Mission Hills is an upscale neighborhood in San Diego, California, USA. It is located on hills just south of the San Diego River valley and north of downtown San Diego, overlooking Old Town, Balboa Park, Downtown San Diego, and San Diego Bay. Close to all the major attractions including Petco Park, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Convention Center, Seaport Village and more.

Hillcrest is known for being centrally located to great restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs, trendy stores and many other locally owned business. The home is within walking distance to two major grocery stores as well.

The condo is centrally located to get to anywhere in San Diego. The Coaster and Amtrak trains are within five miles, the airport is a short Uber/LYFT drive away, there are public bikes and scooters to rent around the neighborhood and of course there is the bus line as well. Because of the location and activities in this central location, many guests don't need a vehicle at all. As mentioned above, a two car garage is available for any vehicle parking.

The only space that could be shared is an outdoor fire pit area. All other components in within the condo are completely private, including the balcony.

Thank you for choosing to stay at our beautiful apartment in Hillcrest/Mission Hills! This apartment was established in 2018 and the final build was finished in 2020 by us, Michelle and Christopher. I (Michelle) was born in Sacramento, CA and Christopher was born in Devon, England. We both relocated to San Diego, CA over 20 years ago. Outside of our day job/careers, we enjoy real-estate investing and designing homes in the craftsman, traditional and contemporary styles. As a couple who has travelled to various places around the world, we believe that San Diego, CA is a unique “paradise” destination, to be enjoyed for vacation and every-day living.

Located in the heart of Uptown San Diego, this townhome is perfectly situated between Mission Hills and the trendy Hillcrest area. There is an abundance of great restaurants, shops, and activities nearby to be experienced during your stay. As locals, we put together this guest book with our favorite things to do in order to help you maximize your trip and enjoy the best that San Diego has to offer. Section 1: House Rules and Guide

As your hosts, Chris and I strive to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible! Here are the house rules in addition to some instructions to help you locate items upon “check-in” (please don’t forget to see the “check-out” process in Section 8).

Parking
There is a four car tandem garage located on the first floor of the two units (two tandem spaces available per unit). The parking garage can accommodate compact/intermediate sized vehicles. If you have a larger vehicle, please let us know as we may be able to work with you on an alternative parking location.

Maximum Occupancy
The apartment will accommodate a maximum of 7 people. If you have a larger group requiring additional accommodations, please let us know as we may have the unit next door available, or the main house in the front of the property.

Television/Cable Instructions
The remote control to the television in the living room should be in the drawer of the table located underneath it. Simply press the power button on the remote to turn it on. If you’d like to transfer between standard and cable, please choose between the “input” buttons on the television remote. We also have sports channels available for your viewing pleasure.

Netflix, Apple TV Plus, HBO Go, or other Smart TV Login Instructions
Turn on TV and navigate to the application of choice. Click on the application and you should be able to access movies, etc. offered on your specific application. Please do not forget to log out of your personal applications before you check-out.

Air/Heating/Fans
The thermostat for the heating and air can be located on the main floor of the unit. Ceiling fans are located in the living room, patio and in each bedroom upstairs. Please consider the environment during your stay. There is a very nice ocean breeze from the west that will make the apartment very comfortable during most months of the year.

Extra Bed, Linens, Pillows, and Blankets
In the bedroom closets on the third floor, there are spare linens, pillows, blankets, etc. There is an inflatable queen sized mattress for your use, if necessary. This mattress (along with associated bedding) is located downstairs in the storage closet next to the main living area. There is also a Pack n’ Play with sheets for infant/toddler use.

Towels
Fresh shower/bath and hand towels can be found in the hall closets that are located between the two bedrooms on the third floor.


Toiletries: Shampoo, Conditioner and Soap
Each bathroom should be stocked with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your use. Extra toilet paper is located under each of the bathroom sinks (upstairs) and above the toilet in the powder rooms on the main level.

Hair Dryers
Each bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer located underneath the sink.

Iron, Ironing Board and Closet Hangers
There is an iron and ironing board located in the larger closet in the second bedroom upstairs. Each closet is equipped with hangers for use during your stay.

Cleaning Supplies
A vacuum and steam mop can be found in the closet off of the main living area on the 2nd floor. There are cleaning supplies in the pantry cabinets to in the kitchen. FOR ANY SPILLS ON THE LIVING ROOM COUCH, CHAIRS, OR AREA RUG, PLEASE TREAT PROMPTLY WITH FLOREX. Pledge can be used to clean the counter tops and stainless steal in the kitchen and bathrooms. The Quartz countertops can also be cleaned with “Bar Keepers” cleanser. Please keep children away from ALL cleaning supplies.

Spare Batteries
In the event of battery failure of remote controls, spares can be found in the same pantry cabinets as the cleaning supplies above. Note: If a smoke alarm requires battery replacement, please notify us via your booking application ASAP.

Coffee/Tea
There is a Keurig machine in the kitchen and the coffee and tea are in the kitchen pantry for your use.

Garbage
There are two garbage bins in the cabinet to the left of the kitchen sink. Please use the front bin for recyclable trash and use the back bin for food/regular trash. If you overflow the trash bins inside the kitchen, there are two larger garbage bins downstairs below the main entrance staircase. Garbage from the bins below will be removed on Tuesday or Wednesday. Garbage bag refills can be found in the pantry.

Laundry
The washing machine and dryer are located on the third floor at the top of the stairs. Laundry detergent can be found in the hallway closets on the same floor. Do not use the laundry facilities located in the parking garage. These units are reserved for our cleaners.

Kitchen Supplies/Equipment
The kitchen is well-stocked with just about anything you would need in order to cook a family meal, gourmet meal or simple snacks, including high-end cookware, knives, etc. Feel free to look around the kitchen cabinets to find all of these items as sometimes they get moved around.

Games
Some fun family games can be found in the console below the television in the living room.

Check-In and Check-Out Times
Standard check-in time is 3PM and check-out on your day of departure is 11AM. If you need special arrangements, let us know. However, note that our cleaners rely on these windows to prepare for our next guest. Therefore, if you choose an early check-in or check-out, please understand the cleaners may be present and will need access to all areas in order to complete their job.

Extra Amenities Available
An open courtyard is in the back with a gas BBQ, dining table and sitting area with fire pit. This is a shared space for guests who are staying in the main house as well as the other apartment unit. Please be respectful and clean up after each use, so other guests can enjoy the space as well.
