This is refurbished property steps away from the Powell Street cable car turnaround and close to the 38 bus top. The queen bed was comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large for a refurbished building. The staff were very helpful and engaging. The complementary breakfast is standard Holiday Inn fare.

Great location. Staff was very nice. Clean and modern on the inside. Only issue was that the breakfast room was small compared to the guests that wanted to use it - needed to be 2x bigger as there were people waiting to get in.

We stayed for 5 days at the hotel, the location is good, breakfast included was a plus, very close to a Wallgreens, which was convenient and very close to bart and bus stops....makes it a solid choice for a short stay in the SF bay area. I only wished the rooms were bigger, not much space to walk around the bed and hardly any sunlight coming in from the small window. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Summer family vacation.

It was a nice overall experience, the reception staff were always kind and polite, the breakfast was good but repetitive all days (I stay 4), I love the city, also I hope the security situation improves soon, it is very sad to see the city like this. The location of the hotel is on the edge of the Tenderloin, do not walk in there, stay at the north east and you be safe.

Holiday Inn Union square

Location is great and the price was great as well. When we first opened the door to the room, it had a horrible moldy smokey odor to it. The window only open 1/8 of the way.

I like the buffet and all the breakfast choices, however, it was too noisy and could not sleep. Also, the parking situation was very inconvenient. I called and even talked to a person and they assured me they had oarkubg but failed to say they charge $65 per night! Ended up having to park in a parking garage and felt unsafe.
