“It’s a scam, don’t fall for it, the listing states that you book the entire cabin but in reality it’s just one room! It’s a share cabin with a share bathroom! They don’t tell you until it’s too late to cancel with no penalty’s. Basically they will corner you into sharing the cabin or loose your money. The owner is a scam artist, the property is based in Guatemala but she contacted me using a Thailand phone number, good luck getting in touch with her (if it’s even a she) don’t get fooled by this.……

“The place is very nice. Built with natural materials - stone/wood/ceramic/metal - it has a nice feeling. It's clean, and the location is great - there are a lot of trees on the lot, so constant birdsong. It's away from the road, so very tranquil. It's easy to get into town by walking or tuc tuc - you can walk along the lake to the Santiago dock, then you have to take the streets. It's a couple of hundred feet from the lake. “The cabin has terrible access roads had an SUV and had a hard time getting there, once there one of the bedrooms has no heating, no fridge and the only way to heat the leaving room is by using firewood that has to be brought from outside and really hard to light up, top bedroom its only accisable by a ladder a construction ladder, showers can only be used hot or cold imposible to get warm water to shower and top bedroom shower does not work only water spicket, no internet working try both……
