“Chambre très moyenne , très mauvais rapport qualité/prix , personnel très sympa néanmoins et belle vue, les rideaux à changer , ils sont beaucoup trop petits , une seule prise électrique dans toute la chambre (salle de bain) c'est trop peu , rajouter une prise électrique à côté du lit serait une bonne idée.”

“El Picnic was a truly special place to stay on Lake Atitlán. The hosts are wonderful and make the experience along with the beautiful setting. Gabi went above and beyond, from helping coordinate transportation before our arrival to suggesting and arranging unique local experiences during our stay. One of her recommendations, a bird-watching hike, ended up being a highlight of our trip (we even saw a quetzal!). Meals were excellent, with delicious breakfasts and dinners shared with other guests……

Alexis connected with us through WhatsApp to make communication easier and answer any questions we had. It took us quite awhile to reach Lake Atitlan due to traffic but we were able to take a water taxi to the hotel from Panajachel. “This property charges premium prices but delivers very little beyond the view. The location overlooking Lake Atitlán is beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The internet was essentially unusable during my stay. For a hotel at this price level, reliable internet should be basic. I had work to do and could not connect. Mobile data also barely works in this location, so the hotel’s Wi-Fi is the only option. What made the situation worse was the response from staff. No one……

“The hotel is okay, most of the natural beauty around it makes it look a lot better. There is no AC so be prepared to be warm during the day. Our room was over an hour and a half late and we were not compensated whatsoever even though we were waiting for them. It's time for isn't overly attentive and the wait time for the food is definitely not worth it. ”
