“This part of our journey through Guatemala was to stay at this hotel and relax, and we did just that. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, but be prepared to climb stairs and steep inclines but not to worry, they are very accommodating with the one golf cart they have for the guests. “Alexis was very helpful through the whole check in and stay. The property can only be accessed by the water. Alexis connected with us through WhatsApp to make communication easier and answer any questions we had. It took us quite awhile to reach Lake Atitlan due to traffic but we were able to take a water taxi to the hotel from Panajachel. “Really hard to arrive if you drive because it's far”

“Na verblijf was één grote tegenvaller. Het lijkt op de website alsof je in het Pink House verblijft, met gebruik van de keuken, maar dat was niet het geval. Eerst moesten we een half uur wachten omdat de eigenaar de boeking niet had gezien. We kregen daarna een zeer eenvoudige en niet erg schone kamer met alleen een tafel en een koelkast. We konden ons gekochte eten dus niet koken. Toen we gingen douchen sloegen de stoppen door. Dat bleek een bekend probleem. De eigenaar beloofde na veel boze……

“A stunning property with amazing views. It is nestled into the side of the mountain and designed to make the most of the lake views. There is lots of attention to detail. My room was beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great, which also had a lake view! It was nice to have the Guatemalan breakfast included in my rate. “Definitivamente es barato, pero no porque sea barato debe ser asi. No es nada en contra del señor David o su familia. Si son amables, pero llegue a las 2, incluso acorde la llegada y aun asi llegue y el lugar no estaba listo, entras por callejones que no se ven muy seguros, no esta bien señalizado el lugar, además de que no hay regadera, es bañarse a jicara con agua fria. No tuvieron la habitación lista hasta casi las 4 pm. La habitación es muy rústica, techo de lamina, huecos por donde se meten……
