4-plex apartment "C" (first floor, king bedroom, updated bathroom) is located in the middle of Bradenton Beach city on the southern end of Anna Maria Island.

Walk to all convenience: Walking distance to the best the island has to offer, including the FREE AMI Trolley, Historical Bridge Street, The Bradenton Beach city pier, the Inter-coastal, lots of restaurants, souvenir shops, bars, ice cream parlors, and of course one of the top BEST island beaches in America.

Watch the frequently seen dolphins from the beach just across the Gulf (of Mexico) Drive... Stay here for your beach wedding or family reunions.

An hour or so before the sunsets, fire up the large stainless gas grill in the enclosed picnic area (lighted & on property) and enjoy your meal while watching the sunset from your living area apartment window...

Perfect choice
Came to the west coast from the east coast for a little get away by myself. The property was lovely, the room was clean and well stocked. Bed was super comfy and a/c worked great! Capt Mike was very easy to communicate with and very prompt to respond. The area was perfect, very close to lots of places to eat and drink and access to the beach. I felt very safe coming and going alone, day and night. I will definitely stay here again.

Great responses from owner. Wonderful location. Easy local transportation up and down the island. We cooked in our condo, I brought my own spices. Didn’t expect them to provide. However It did have some spices, ie: salt, pepper, sugar. They seemed old though and should be replaced. Overall great place and would stay again.

Great place for a couple’s beach getaway
My wife’s review: My husband and I took an impromptu drive to Anna Maria Island for a week away from the cold weather at home (early December). Capt Mike was very accommodating with our last minute booking. Capt Mike thought of everything! This villa is very clean and well appointed, with updated kitchen and bathroom (including kitchen appliances), tasteful beachy decor, and a very comfortable king-sized bed! The back yard patio area is great for relaxing, with a hammock, chaise lounges, and tables/chairs. Everything is provided for time at the beach — a cart, chairs, umbrella, towels, a cooler, and beach toys. The villa is the perfect size for a couple or a couple with a small child or two. Great location; we walked to the beach and to shops and restaurants. The free trolley is handy, but we had a car and didn’t use it. We are looking forward to returning during warmer weather. I can see myself floating in the beautiful, blue-green, clear Gulf of Mexico. I spent hours collecting seashells and even waded in the water over my knees. The outdoor shower and foot washing (shell washing) stations came in handy. Thanks, Capt Mike!

Weekend Trip
My daughter and I stayed for the weekend for a lacrosse tournament. Location was perfect (across the street from the beach AND near an inlet/outlet to the island so you avoid traffic congestion). We had a problem with our parking spot Saturday evening after 9pm and the owner was immediately responsive and remedied the problem within 15 minutes. Thank you!

Relaxing beach stay close to everything!
The location is ideal and the unit is great for a couples getaway to Anna Maria Island. We had never been to the island before but will certainly be returning. Walking distance to many great restaurants and across the street from a low key relaxing beach. Would recommend! Our only issue arose upon check in, where we couldn’t find the lock box. Captain Mike did include instructions, however for the more directionally challenged guests such as ourselves, it was a bit confusing. We still got in and had a great stay, and will hopefully be returning soon.

Short Getaway
Our stay was great and Mike was very responsive to questions! The house is located in a busy area but that made it very easy to get to everything! We were told we probably wouldn’t need a rental car and he was right. We hopped on and off the island trolley which was free and the pickup spot was 2 short blocks from the house. (3min) This allowed access to all of Anna Maria Island. There’s also beach access across the street and the rental property included a beach cart, chairs, and beach towels, which made it very easy to take everything to the beach without stress! The house is quiet and comfortable. Everything you need is provided! It was especially nice as our flight took off later in the afternoon we were able to check out and then we were provided a code so we could keep our luggage in a locked area and come back for it later. This allowed extra time for a boat trip around the island instead of sitting in the airport! Definitely a nice, centrally located place to stay with the beach, bars and restaurants within walking distance and right on the trolley route for exploring!

Christmas Getaway
My husband and I are so grateful we came across Salty Living. These villa’s are super cute and cozy. They’re located directly across from the beach and in walking distance to amazing restaurants on the island. Captain Mike is a great host and had everything we could possibly need inside the villa’s. Great little getaway spot close to everything - beach, shops, multiple restaurants, etc. Our little bungalow had everything you could possibly need - full kitchen, bathroom amenities, beach supplies (cart, chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels), and extra blankets, towels, and sheets. Had a wonderful stay at this practically-waterfront property, perfectly located near all the good stuff in Bradenton Beach. Agree with all the positive reviews. Comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, and pretty much just as depicted here on VRBO. The only misfire (and it was a minor one for us) was the noise from our upstairs neighbor. Not their fault, I just think the construction conveys the sound really efficiently between the up & downstairs neighbors. Nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay, though, and we’d happily rent again — and plan to. Steps away from beautiful beaches and all the Bridge St. attractions. Loved our meal at one of Mike’s recommended eateries — Wicked Cantina. Outstanding. Don’t miss the Tahini Beach Cafe for a terrific breakfast, too— about 100 yards south of the property.

Thought of everything! Just show up for wonderful time
Great location! Steps to the beach, shops and restaurants, pier. Pretty much a hotel, but better. Check in was incredibly easy. I never had to contact anyone. They have wagon to carry your belongings, cooler, beach chairs, beach towels water floats, games etc. I honestly have no complaints. We loved our stay on the beautiful island.
