Excellent location / friendly staff / clean hotel. Decor Instagramable. Bit of a party bar downstairs- try not to sleep on the first floor it might be a bit noisy- we moved rooms - which was handled without fuss, which was good. We wished we had not booked breakfast as there are many great brunch places nearby & breakfast although convenient was average. All in all & ok hotel for the price.

This hotel is reasonably well situated in lovely Bruges Belgium and on first glance looks to be a well restored older building, however, be aware that the lift is very slow, which they admit. You may also have to negotiate some small flights of stairs, even when using said lift. Upon our arrival, around 7pm, we were asked by the sole employee to wait for checkin while he served some people in the bar. We waited for 10mins. He was personable enough. The room was very nice with a slipper bath and was very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the cellar and was mediocre, so I would advise against a breakfast package and frequent one of the numerable brunch places nearby. On departure, the staff member checking us out was business like. She was efficient enough but lacking any pleasurable personality. Perhaps we got her on a bad day but in conjunction with our arrival experience, I would suggest the hotel invests in better staffing and a little more attention towards paying guests.
