Cottage 183, located at 1405 SEA ISLAND DRIVE, a beautiful Marsh Front Estate on the NW corner of 14th & Sea Island Drive, an Original Sea Island Classic.
Just ONE BLOCK walk to one of the nicest BEACH on Sea Island. This Classic Cottage is the perfect getaway. It has the eloquence of a fine private estate that's nestled in nature's magnificent beauty.

The cottage has a grand lay out of yesteryear. There is a formal living room that opens on to twin patios overlooking a beautiful spring fed pond and miles of lush marsh.

There is a magnificent ENTERTAINMENT WING, with a jazz piano, a slate pool table, a ping pong table, a large screen TV, a stereo, and its own kitchenette.

When it is time to turn in there are FIVE BEDROOMS ALL with their own PRIVATE BATHROOMS. There are three individual Suites, two with king beds and one with an awesome super plush queen. The master bedroom has magnificent views of the pond and marsh. It has separate his and hers bathrooms. In addition there is a large bed room adjacent to the game room with a king & a twin bed. Perfect for teenagers. Also included is a kids room with a twin bunk bed and its own bathroom.

This neoclassical 1965 French cottage has boasts 5,400 square feet of space. Many of its original fixtures, woodwork and hand crafted details have been maintained to its original Sea Island luster. It is conveniently located on 14th street between the Marsh and Sea Island Drive.

Barron’s named Sea Island #1 on their list of “Best Places for a Second Home'. While its beauty and range of lifestyles and luxury, as well as its status as a “power alley” of influential residents, were noted, Sea Island was rated highest for its value. Outside magazine’s Adventure Advisor chose St. Simons Island as a “Best Fall Beach Escape” because our sandy beaches are largely employ in the off season while temperatures are sill in the 70s, and fishing, surfing, and biking are all possible. National Geographic Traveler included the Georgia Sea Islands, as its “99 Top Rated Places”. Speaking of golf, this is the perfect base for attending the PGA’s McGladrey Classic golf tournament held at Sea Island's fabled Seaside golf course.

Great family vacation

Our 3 families had a wonderful vacation at Cottage 183. The booking process was simple and we had no issues. This cottage was super clean and well taken care of. We look forward to coming back to Sea Island and staying here again next year!

Amazing vacation

Love Sea Island, excellent manager

Ryan made communication very easy and was so responsive. The house was exactly as described, and it was our second trip to Sea Island, so we knew we’d love the location. Overall a great stay!

We had a lovely time at this home. The home was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The lights were on and everything was so welcoming. The views in back by the marsh are beautiful! Everything was provided and Cameron was always available if needed, he was very accommodating and patient with all of my questions. We hope to return.

Wonderful Week

We had an amazing week at Cottage 183. Everything was perfect - very old school glamorous! We loved the wild life watching and the quick walk to the beach. We did not add passes to the Sea Island Beach Club but might consider that on our next visit. We did visit the Cloisters River Bar for an evening cocktail mid week and enjoyed watching the boats come in. A great week in Sea Island!

Fabulous house

This is a beautifully quaint house with large rooms, a fantastic game room and lovely view of the marshes. It is also across the street from access to the private beach which even on labor day weekend was secluded. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom which is very nice and the game room is great for lazy afternoons and rainy days. highly recommend the house and would return any time.

Great house for large groups !

We really enjoyed our stay in this large home. It was perfect for our family and grandchildren ! It is a well equipped home and quick walk or bike ride to the Beach club and Cloister and it is steps to the beach across the street . It even comes with bikes for kids and adults! Ryan is a great house manager and was very easy to reach and answered all of our questions . This is a wonderful rental for a large group or family !! We will be back!

A wonderful time!

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended 4 additional days! Well maintained home with floor plan that provides plenty of space yet allows for privacy as well and only a block away from the beach! Plenty of linens, dishware, silverware. Comfortable beds and sofas. Cool even on the hottest of days, with plenty of hot water for our group. The grounds are beautiful with the in ground pool adding even more fun and diversity. We really loved the brightness of the home, with plenty of windows and lighting. We visit St. Simons Island often as it's our favorite destination for family vacations with lots to do for everyone. We will stay at this home again.

Fabulous Sea Island Cottage

We absolutely LOVED this house! Our extended family included 3 generations, and the layout of the house was perfect for spreading out & everyone having their own space. The teens had their own huge wing with pool & ping pong tables, tv area, bedroom, bathroom & kitchenette. The living room, overlooking the marsh (home to Gary the gator, who was a huge hit), was central to the house & was where we all gathered in the evenings before & after dinner. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and the house as a whole was very beautifully furnished & well cared for. Lastly, Ryan was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We can't wait to visit again!

Great layout and location - be aware of additional fees to gain access to amenities of the resort

Overall our experience was good staying at this cottage. The layout of the home was perfect for our families. Lessees should be aware that access to the Beach Club and Sea Island Resort (including restaurants) is limited to those who purchase temporary membership passes. These are not included in the cottage rental fee. This is a significant additional expense and people should inquire about the fees prior to leasing the property if interested in using any of the resort facilities.

Spacious and comfortable home in Sea Island

This house was perfect for our group of grandparents, aunties, teenagers and 3 teens/pre teens. We loved the fun layout of the house and all the art work and other cool items to look at. The rooms were all large and spacious (except the bunk room but it was very functional). The kitchen was well stocked and had what we needed to grill and cook a few meals at the house. The kids really enjoyed having their own wing with pool table and ping pong table. The location on Sea Island is great. We used the bikes for a short trip to the Beach Club or you could just access the beautiful unspoiled beach right across the block from the house. Getting into the house was very easy and Ryan was helpful and very responsive throughout the entire process. We would definitely return for another stay. Thanks!

Wonderful stay in the Golden Isle

Beautiful home with numerous different "spaces" to enhance your stay. Ryan could not have been a better, more proactive communicator and went above and beyond to make the stay easy and simple for us. Would definitely recommend for a larger group!

Gorgeous house, super friendly host

The house is lovely and could not be better located on the island. The sprawling home has tons of space to host a big group without folks living on top of one another, a beautiful kitchen, and a game room that’s perfect for gathering. The hosts could not have been more accommodating or friendly. Would recommend this home to anyone - 10/10!!

4 couples on an annual golf trip. This house is huge, each couple had own room and bathroom. One block from beach. 15” walk to cloisters or take one of the bikes the house offers. Great communication with house manager, easy check-in process.
