"This property was well appointed, clean, comfortable and in the middle of all the locations we wanted to visit in the Highlands/Cashiers area. We primarily stay in rental properties when we travel. With this property, the owners thought of everything so I suspect they also travel and have a travelers perspective. Bottled water in the refrigerator, several types of coffee makers, large comfortable beds, strong WiFi, menus from local restaurants, all sorts of travel size items in the bathrooms...

We sat on the balcony with light wraps and enjoyed the candle lit lanterns in the fading twilight; prepared breakfast in the well equipped kitchen; and relaxed in the living room on cozy couches. "What place to kick back and enjoy the sound of the river wisking by and the crackiling of the great fireplace. We had a group of nine (over 60 in age each) that has gone over 30+ yrs for once a year long weekend trips to Blue Ridge Smokies. This stop was a great place for out group. House was plenty big enough. The owner and property helpers we quick to fix a couple of issues when we arrived. But overall, the old house did us well once we got used to the little qwerks all houses seem to have....

"This little Villa is such a gem. We stayed one entire week here and didn’t want to come back home. The villa was so comfortable and the views are the best you’re gonna get. We will definitely return here again. A few things we did to make our stay a little more comfortable. We bought a pillow top foam cover for the mattress and two extra pillows. "This is a nice comfortable place to hang out. It is a bit out of the way but we like that. If you play golf I suppose this would be a great place to stay. "The driveway was an adventure, steep but you've just gotta commit and go for it!! All wheel drive vehicles did best but front wheel drive did fine. Everyone in the group absolutely loved the house and talked about going back!! The porch was the best for spending time together and enjoying the view.
