About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

The Little Lake House at Center Hill Lake.

If Mountain Modern were a design style, this cabin would be it. Newly renovated from top to bottom, the Little Lake House at Center Hill Lake has everything you need for a couples' get away or small family retreat. The exterior and furnishings scream modern while the interior and rural setting says rustic. Nestled at the tip of the Puckett Point peninsula, you can enjoy the lake view from virtually every room in the house. The home is the perfect home base for exploring waterfalls or the lake.
The space
The home is 9 miles south of I-40 off of the Tennessee scenic by-way to Smithville. You’ll know you are getting close when you cross over the Hurricane Bridge--with majestic views from both sides of the car. The Little Lake House is an idyllic cozy cabin nestled in a wooded area just a quarter mile from the public boat ramp.
Guest access
Guests have access to everything but the garage, locked loft space in main bedroom and the locked storage cabinet in the main bedroom closet.
Other things to note
The boat ramp down the road from us is under construction at the moment. They are replacing the lower half of the ramp.

Absolutely no more than four guests unless permission has been given ahead of time. Guest will forfeit entire deposit if there is evidence that the maximum number of guests is exceeded.

If you are wanting to bring a boat and park it on the property we recommend one no larger than 16 feet and no trailer wider than 8 feet. With that said, parking it will require some expertise in backing up a trailer and maneuvering tight corners. We would encourage using one of the nightly slips at Hurricane Marina. They can be rented for around $30 per night.

We would highly recommend you staying here. The place was really nice. The lake was beautiful and it was nice having a fire in the outside fire pit. Nice drive to Cookville. Some really nice pubs and breweries in the downtown area

Lake House stay
Owner was great! House was very nice. Very nice mattresses that were firm and great to sleep on! ( Which can be rare to find at a rental). Very clean and well kept. Fully furnished with nice stuff. Driveway was a little rough and trees need to be cut back but otherwise great place.

Cozy Cabin
This place is a gem! We had the most relaxing getaway here. The cabin is beautiful! It was very clean with everything we needed. The balcony and the view were amazing. It is a short walk to the lake. We ended up getting food and cooking at the cabin and relaxing there instead of going out to eat. Highly recommend.

This property, overlooking a beautiful is just a little difficult to find the driveway, but once you get situated.....it is just great! The cabin is as beautiful as the pictures present it to be. Our time was cut short, but while there, is was a lovely mini getaway.

Amazing weekend getaway!
Our family loved our weekend at the little house on the lake. The house was immaculate and so modern and beautifully decorated. We loved relaxing out on that beautiful deck in the morning, sitting by the fire in the evening, and even played some fun games that were available in the cabin. We enjoyed some beautiful hiking a short drive from our cabin and we rented a boat to spend the day on this gorgeous lake. Jeff was awesome and available to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend!

Lovely location
A nice cabin tucked away near the lake, not far from Smithville. 5 minute walk to the lake (you can drive), and the launch is now in good condition. The cabin is kitted out well and has a lovely deck and grill, not to mention a fire pit and hammock. Inside is spacious and the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern. No TV in the main living space but plenty of games to keep you busy. Minor issues encountered were the power cuts (not the fault of the owner, but the nasty thunderstorms), and it being a little noisy with the air conditioning units on. You get a good view of the lake (but trees are starting to grow in and may take up the view over time) and there is another property behind and one next door which aren’t shown on the photos. Overall a really nice place to escape to and would recommend. And don’t forget the bug spray, it’s Tennessee!
