If you have ever been to Cancun, and loved the service from the staff. Don't go to Grenada. The island itself is a sorry crumbling infrastructure I would expect in a much poorer country. Coyaba Beach resort gets 2 stars..one for the best beach I have ever walked on, and 2 for the best ocean swim I've ever had. The stuff they had nothing to do with ! This place is well passed its lifetime. The Garden was beautiful, but the food sucked..bad. NO INDOOR DINING ! 12 degrees from the equator...I get it...hot and humid...BUT give us a place to have a meal where we are not sweating profusely the whole time, we started to go to the ONE restaurant, make a plate, and take it to our room for some comfort. The food was awful, we actually had to order local delivery for a meal, when we paid for All Inclusive. We felt very unwelcome from the unsmiling staff, we got incorrect instructions about times and directions to places on the compound. They didn't even have a simple map of the property for us to get around. My wife has limited mobility, so this was an important A-to-B request. Shower and water pressure were equivalent to a low-end RV shower I once rented. Please...find another place..Grand Anse Beach is Amazing ! But this resort is not. Additionally, the Grenadian people hate us, every single interaction, from the co-op bank for ridiculous money-changing, to a simple shop at the IGA, was problematic and frustrating. Be quiet, acquiescent and smiling...doesn't matter to them.

Good staff, good property. Convenient walk to the beach and restaurant. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. Not your average eggs and bacon, you get many options. The one thing I have a complaint about is the shower was not all that it’s like a rain shower head and the faucet had broke so I couldn’t manage the temperature. I did not complain to the staff about it bc it wasn’t a deal breaker I just dealt with it and the water was warm. If you use all the coffee pods in the room they will charge 3usd for extras, which I didn’t really understand because coffee should come with the room lol. Anyways, would I go back? Yes. Great views and calm staff.

Overall, the resort was okay, and I genuinely enjoyed my time there. However, there are a few areas that could definitely use improvement. My biggest issue was the food. The buffet had a variety of items, but they often felt random and didn’t really go together, pancakes in one section and curry chicken in another. Because the options were limited, we mostly stuck to the fresh food stations, like the omelet and pasta stations. We really enjoyed the food at Nibbles, but the menu never changed. Lunch and dinner offered the same options every day, so after a week, we found ourselves eating the same meals repeatedly. I also would not recommend this resort for anyone with mobility or accessibility concerns. There are A LOT of stairs, and you need to use them to get almost everywhere. Buggies are available to help you get around, but getting from the drop-off points to your room can still be challenging. Lastly, I didn’t see much value in Diamond Club. It seemed to separate guests without offering a noticeable difference in service. I’d rather see the entire resort receive a “Diamond Club” level of service starting with better food options and consistency. For example, I tried ordering a burger from room service one day, and they had no burger buns. At a resort? No burger buns? That pretty much sums up my frustration with the food.

My stay was absolutely lovely, just far too short! It truly feels like a secret hideaway, perfect for comfort, peace, and relaxation. The pool, breathtaking views, delicious food, and wonderful staff were all amazing. And the rooms? OMG so scenic and beautifully designed! I can always appreciate thoughtful architecture and attention to detail. Nina gave me a 10/10 massage, and Jen was an absolute doll so warm and welcoming. Overall, such a beautiful experience, and I’ll definitely make it a point to visit anytime I’m in Grenada. ❤️
