We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Atlantico Madrid. The location on Gran Via is convenient and walkable to almost all of the major attractions in central Madrid. Gran Via is very crowded and noisy, similar to Times Square in New York City, but our hotel room on the eighth floor, was quiet even though we looked out on Gran Via. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a very nice buffet breakfast served on the first floor and a roof-top bar with indoor and outdoor seating on the ninth floor. Prices for food, drink and accomodations are very reasonable. It has the charm of an older hotel but it has been remodeled, updated and is extremely well-maintained. The Housekeeping staff does an excellent job. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, comfortable and filled with amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
