"Lovely property and staff. There is no air conditioning which is slightly uncomfortable at night if you like it nice and cool. However, the property is nice enough that I’d stay there again despite no air conditioning."

"Super easy reservation, check in, and check out! We have been going to 1849 condos as a owner and guest for 54 years. Loved this unit's layout, bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Staying in this unit honestly made us feel like we were in our own condo. Super easy being on first floor with access to pool and recreation area. Will definitely book this specific unit in the future. Also dealing with our contact VRBO host was quick and efficient, and we had no problems with unit at all."

"We came to Mammoth with our 3 adult children and their spouses/significant others and our grandchild. This double unit property worked perfectly for our large family. Plenty of parking, 6 bedrooms snd 6 bathrooms met our needs perfectly. Thank you for sharing your property with us! "

"Great location and exactly what is on the listing. The view was beautiful from the living room and we loved being so close to the hot tub/pool area. A few things to note: We booked it for late April to do spring skiing, but Canyon Lodge closed 3 days beforehand, which made the location a bummer because we had to drive and park at the Mill or Main lodge. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but we were traveling with an 8 month old, so it's a whole extra thing when we have to drive to a lift and park. Not the condo's fault, just make sure you check your dates when you book to make sure it will actually be Ski in/ski out :)A minor complaint is that they did not give us enough towels for everyone to have one shower towel and one pool towel, and they didn't tell you to bring your own pool towels anywhere in the listing or in the checkin instructions.... which was a bummer because the hottub was a big draw for me, so all weekend I was using a wet towel for showers and hot tub. Had I known I would have packed pool towels. Even being there in the off season, it was a bit noisy - the back room had banging heater pipes all night and in the front room it sounded like the family above us was bowling... so I would imagine it may get pretty loud during high season. These are not major complaints but just good things to know before you book :) Still think it deserves 5 stars"

"We really enjoyed our time at this property! It was spacious and clean and conveniently located steps from the lodge. It was so nice just to walk over to the slopes. At the end of the day a highlight was sitting in the hot tub as a family under the starts after a day on the mountain. I highly recommend this property and we hope to return next year!"

"We are extremely grateful for our stay here in this dual-townhouse. Thanks to this place, we were able to bring 18 students out for Spring Break (many of whom had never been to Mammoth before), and provide a safe and awesome ski and snowboarding experience.With it only being a 2 minute walk to Canyon Lodge, it allowed us to be able to bury our cars in the garage the whole trip, and gave our students the flexibility to walk to and from the mountain at their own leisure.Having two places next door to each other, also made the trip super easy to manage with plenty of beds, towels, and dishes to accommodate for all of us.The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to get in touch and coordinate with. Thank you so much again for this stay - we hope we can make this an annual trip for many years to come!"

"We had an amazing stay at this condo—perfect for our snowboarding and skiing trip! It’s practically ski-in/ski-out, with just a quick walk to Canyon Lodge (less than 5 minutes). The place was spotless, and everything felt super comfortable—great beds, cozy vibes, and all the essentials we needed. Couldn’t ask for a better setup for hitting the slopes. Highly recommend!"

"We’ve been to Mammont many times. Most of our stays were at Chamonix complex apartments. This place is near Canyon Lodge. You don’t need to drive, just walk. In winter that super convenient. I summer, you must stay outside more than inside. Mammoth is beautiful!"

"Very easy access to canyon lodge and all the chairs at the base. The fireplace was cozy and Austria Hof across the street was convenient for drinks!"

"Fireplace was great! The three beds were very uncomfortable and gave all us pain the next day. Sofa bed felt like there was a big guy before us and left a huge dent on one side, dining room chairs are old and the backs of them were broken, shower head was 5 foot tall. The burners on the stovetop took waaaay to long to heat up. I understand the owners are just looking to make a few bucks but they won’t be getting my few bucks anymore. The walking distance to the chair was great and so was the fireplace! "
