"The reception, valet, and housekeeping staff are fantastic! They were approachable, friendly, and did little things for my family that showed great customer service and hard to find friendliness in this quick and fast society we live in. You’ll always remember how people made you feel, and the staff really made the difference here. The valets were great! They’d ask how are day was going, made recommendations, and were just really, really friendly. They even shared some fresh pastries with us. The valets here take the hotel to another level… just great people that helped us throughout our entire stay. "

The pool and bar area is lovely, and we really enjoyed the live music! We weren’t sure why they charged $20 for parking so we parked safely on the street for free. "

"Very nice hotel and excellent location. Happy hour was really nice, and pool was the cleanest and most refreshing I've seen. Lovely! Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was just standard American hotel--lots of mediocre food. Sometimes I wish these hotels would just contract with a local bakery to offer coffee, fruit, and some high quality baked good rather than loads of mediocre food. "

"For a Motel 6 (the first ever, apparently), this one can't be beat! The location is ideal and it's clearly been recently renovated and is quite nice. We were on the ground floor with peek-a-boo ocean view (2nd floor would be ideal), but it was quiet, super comfy bed, really nice shower. No complaints! "
