"This was such a unique and fun stay! Check in was super easy and quick. The Velma was spacious and comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities. I was initially concerned about the shared bathrooms, but encountered no issues of waiting or sharing. They were clean and available! "

"We had one of the 2 bedroom cottages. The space was perfect. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable.! Plenty of pillows. We could park right in front of our room. We used the pool which was clean and had an outdoor changing room. We were able to have our dogs there. There was a dog park off the property, but nearby. We would definitely stay here again."

"This property is amazing. When we pulled in I thought the buildings exterior looked dated. But Karen checked us in, showed us where our room was, showed us the closest parking and access door to our room. She was very accommodating. First, every little nook is an art gallery. Wonderful mountain pieces right down to the live edge wood trim in the hallways and in the room. Our room was cleaner than any of the large chain hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast was a lite faire but it was as we expected. The entire hotel and staff was thoughtful and wonderful. The owner is on premise. Lots of art and stuff to discover inside the hotel and outside. I would definitely book it again."

It was nicely remodeled and had the space we needed for a family of four.We loved sitting on the back deck and playing board games in the dining room.The fenced in yard was nice for our dog.It was stuffy and warm the first day but like others said after opening windows and running some fans it became comfortable the rest of the stay.To have access to the garage would be nice to store equipment like bikes.We loved Salida."

"The room was very spacious and clean. Finding a place to stay as a family with 4 kids isn't always easy, but our room had a king bed, pull out couch/bed, and full size bunk beds. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be staying here the next time we come through. Only complaint was that it wasn't ready at check in time, but the staff was very nice and reassuring while we waited. The strawberry waffles at breakfast are just the icing on the cake for this hotel!"

"We loved staying at your condo in Salida. It was so clean and so beautifully furnished and decorated. We were very comfortable there and it’s location to everything in Salida was so nice. We walked everywhere and didn’t need a car. "

The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated in a way that honors the history and architecture. It had everything we needed; plenty of pillows, soft beds & blankets, seating areas with beautiful views. My partner and I enjoyed bird watching from the deck and windows and listening to the sounds of the rain on the roof. The pool was so clean and relaxing, I spent hours in it. We wanted to treat ourselves to a little getaway for our mental health and it was so peaceful and quiet, we read our books and crocheted. I'd love to come back to this rental in the future with friends and family. The home does not offer much privacy from other guests due to the architecture, but the owner is very forthcoming with that info in the listing. The owner was quick to respond to messages. "

"Nice stay. Live the town and wish we would have booked longer. 5 stars for us but…Be aware of the thin walls and if your neighbor is cooking you will smell it. Also, the lack of a curtain on the back side of the sleeping area means that the skylight wakes you as soon as the sun is around. And the bed was not a standard queen size, felt very small and we are not big people. "
