“We liked the cabin; it was cozy and comfortable. The first 2 nights, we were the only ones in the property, so, it was truly an away-from-it-all vacation. Our pups loved it too and was super thrilled to see deer in the yard in the morning. The river was dried up (in November), but, the trees had turned colors, so, it was nice. This location is perfect if you want to visit Garner State Park and Lost Maples. ”

“While the name really does set the expectation for this incredible home sitting right on the main street of the tiny town of Utopia, you'll be blown away by the sheer number of antiques on display for your viewing pleasure. It's like stepping into an antique retail store without price tags attached to the hundreds (if not thousands) of treasures from a generation past. But that's only the background ambiance! You walk into a modern kitchen equipped with any and every thing you could possible……

“I had a fine time, the location was good, the staff were friendly, the accommodation was clean and very well appointed. I would change two things in the listing. The wifi was intermittent and slow when it was present and though this is a "river retreat" there really isn't a river, looks like it's been dry for several years.”

“Before choosing this place, I looked around at everything available in Bandera. Then I found the TinStar. Not liking crowds and enjoying relaxing in peace & quiet this place WAS PERFECT. I would take this lodging over any other I saw in the area if I ever come to Bandera again. ”
