“I am not sure what amenities this hotel had, it was hard to see past the basics it was supposed have - and lacked - like simple cleanliness. I picked it as a quick stop on a road trip and because they allowed dogs so expectations were low. “One of the most expensive, and by far the ugliest rooms I’ve ever stayed in Virginia - and staff at both the front desk and Harry’s restaurant were just plain rude. Had asked for a room with a view for my birthday, but was given lower level room with broken blinds, cement wall and overgrown bush to look at for a “view.” Front desk guy said, “Oh you’re and EXP room.” ??? “My first concern was walking back to my room as all of the smoke/fire detectors were literally hanging by their wires below the ceiling tiles in the hallway.
