I checked in on April 2 in the evening. I was greeted by the most welcoming person at the desk. I wish I had written her name down. She checked us in and explained everything. She anticipated any unforeseen needs for us! The room was spacious and spotless. There is a dog park right next door for the dogs and art to view. Walkability is 10/10 from the ballpark to dog friendly restaurants to great parks and shopping. Restaurant on site. Breakfast was amazing, even a to go box. Very accommodating staff. Don't forget the famous cookies from 8 to 9pm. They are also great and ask for the recipe. We will definitely be back! Parking is separate I believe. Staff are nice. 50-55 in and out service. They have a texting system so you're not waiting in the rain so that is nice. The only downside is that there is really no one to help with bags. We usually manage our own however, there was no cart for your things available and no one was able to attempt to locate one. All and all. Who cares it is really a great place. Maybe if I need one next time, I'll just call ahead or put it in the request section when booking if needed. If you love art, this is your spot. Everywhere you turn there’s something interesting to look at, and it really sets a vibe you don’t get at a typical hotel. The pool was also a highlight, such a unique and relaxing space to unwind. That said, service was our only real frustration. Our room didn’t get serviced the first day, and we had to call to make sure it would be done the next day. Even then, it didn’t happen until the afternoon. The hotel was at full capacity, and you could tell the staff was exhausted and stretched thin, so it felt more like a staffing issue than a lack of care. Location-wise, it’s great if you’re planning a trip to the City Museum since it’s within walking distance. Just know there aren’t a ton of restaurant options right around the hotel, so you may need to plan ahead or Uber/drive for more variety.
