"These past 3 days were a trip back to my childhood! The coziness of the camper was very much like the one my parents had for our vacations. Most everything was typical of a maintained camper - gas stove with an electric option, windows, toilet, shower, refrigerator, with a modern plus of a microwave. Being next to Lake Superior/L'Anse Bay was a big plus. Owners were a phone call away if needed (I did call for info and they were answered immediately). The only drawback was that fact that US-41 was nearby - but easily ignored after a few hours. A few bugs BUT(!!) you're in the UP in summer - get over it! I will most certainly return in the future."

"When traveling with a dog it's often hard to find a place that approves their admittance, but Bear Paw Inn graciously did and without imposing a ridiculously high fee. The young lady at the desk when we arrived was pleasant, friendly, and very patient with this road-weary traveler who was somewhat confused over whether we'd already been charged (we weren't). We ended up with a VERY clean, exceptionally comfortable room (2 queen beds) that was rustic yet cozy. I would recommend and certainly would return if ever in that area again!"

"Spectacular view offering a peaceful & tranquil view from the comfort of your room! This is the most charming place with extremely friendly owners who can't do enough for their guests. The down to earth atmosphere gives a sense of home away from home and if you're receptive to making friends, simply walk outside enjoy conversing with other travelers on the deck or around a fire.
