Bracken Lodge

Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage"The property was clean and comfortable. In particular the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The location was quiet and easily accessible."

Honeysuckle
Honeysuckle"The cottage was lovely and cosy with everything you need for a self catering break. We didn't use the bar or leisure facilities but they were available. "

Timberwick Green
Timberwick Green"Lovely cosy cottage, perfect for dogs , tiled floor and lots of places to walk. We didn t have time to use the pool or snooker tables , but planning to return Lovely to find a welcome card , hand written from the owners and a bottle of wine ."

Bramble Cottage
Bramble Cottage"Highly recommend, would come stay here again. Lovely spot and very warm welcome. Thank you! "

Top Wooler Hotel Reviews
The Joiners Arms
"Wonderful pub and great staff."
Dryburgh Abbey Hotel
"The hotel is large with plenty of comfortable lounges to relax in. There is an outside area for lunch or drinks if the weather is nice. The hotel is next to the ruins of Dryburg Abbey which is Def worth a visit. The food is good. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice. Evening meal was good. Staff were great. The hotel is clean and well cared despite being very old. Lots of places to walk in the grounds and beside the river. There is onsite parking"
The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate
"Enjoyed our stay but some of the reception staff looked so unhappy. A smile would have gone a long way The meals we had in the restaurant were fine and staff there had a bit of oomph!"
Purdy Lodge
"Very good room and no road noise despite being beside the A1. The food was good both the evening meal and especially the breakfast . The staff were very friendly and efficient"
The Bamburgh Castle Inn - The Inn Collection Group
"Great location with lovely views over the harbour. Full of character. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Our room was in the Annex on the back, but it was very comfortable with a huge queen size bed. The bathroom was ok with a modest cubicle shower, but larger people may struggle with the size. We were lucky to arrive mid day and parked at the hotel. There are limited spaces and you may need to park elsewhere and pay. In high season this could be difficult and Seahouses is small and gets packed. The bar menu was good, but restricted and what we did eat was very tasty. Breakfast was more than adequate with a good selection, but the food a bit hit and miss for freshness. You can however, order options from the menu. The hotel is a great base for the walk to Bamburgh Castle (3 miles along the beach or along the coast path if the tide turns). The walk to the boats for the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne takes two minutes. A very popular hotel and bar for dog walkers, of which there were many! Would we stay again? Yes!"
The Oaks Hotel
"friendly, helpful staff, excellent food, great location"
Black Bull Inn
"I found the staff helpful. This inn is popular. servng large portions of food at very good rates. Bar is well stocked. Breakfast is worth waking up to. I'd happily go back. Room was refreshed everyday. Towels , bedding and brew stuff."
Beach House Hotel
"Was not too sure to sta"
Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa
"Very nice stay, very clean nice and polite staff, excellent breakfast . Nice ground's and a lmpresive maze would definitely stay again."
