The Italian restaurant manager and sole server deserves particular praise, as does the evening cocktail barman, both of whom somehow kept everything running smoothly despite clearly being overstretched. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with lush greenery and an attractive stream running through the resort. The rooms appear recently refurbished, but the finish felt rushed. Our bathroom still looked dated, with a leaking tap, poorly fitted shower screen and stained bath, while the balcony felt neglected with marked loungers and a dirty hot tub.
