Venice Lido Kid friendly Vacations

Very very average , rooms are very very small, showers hard to fit in

Such a unique and beautiful experience!

Due to a cancelled flight, I ended up spending an extra weekend in Venice and moved over to Lido. The staff was excellent! I had some laundry done and then they were able to give me a steamer plus a fan and extra pillows. Ivan was so helpful to me and assisted in booking a private water taxi for me too. It was a hot weekend, but the hotel js great AC. The pool is also beautiful and relaxing. Dont miss the bruschetta while sunbathing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. While we were up there a strange hail storm appeared from nowhere. The staff helped us all and gave us new drinks. I dined at the restaurant one night and it was excellent. Breakfast is generous and everything is made to order. The spa may be the best ever. The hotel has a traditional Thai massage center. I was dealing with a back injury and recent surgery so I needed a fully custom massage and remain on my back. My therapist PM offered me the most relaxing and healing massage ever. Overall, this was a perfect and relaxing weekend. Worth the trip to lido!!!

We loved the room so stunning! Even had slippers and dressing gown so we could use this near the pool. The pool was beautiful and towels were provided. Also so beautiful as you can see the water as you walk out. The room was super clean and pretty. I think be aware if you stay in the hotel and your driving as we hired a car. You would need to park in Venice and leave the car. I would reccomend pre booking parking as it can get very busy. Then you need to get a water taxi to the hotel which was nice and easy. You need to buy the tickets at the machine near the boat taxis you can not buy these on the boats. Room was not ready when we arrived, staff were friendly and said we could get a drink if we wanted outside and would let us know. We were visiting from the UK, we were not keen on the food options at the restaurant and quite expensive. However, just not to our taste other's may like it . But great location, so you can walk to a restaurant and loads nearby. The pizza was lush! Air-conditioning was great to and well needed.
