Southern Alberta Kid friendly Vacations

Great hotel, great location and great staff. Room was pretty tight, pool could have used a little shakeup as well. No concerns otherwise.

Breathtaking hotel and surroundings. The design and branding were understated yet perfect. They were still under construction for their renovations when we arrived, so not all restaurants were open and the pool and spa and gym were not available. They offered shuttles to the Fairmont to use their pool and gym but it does not have the same convenience. In my mind this property is more beautiful and better than Fairmont. Staff is lovely and helpful. Activities and shuttle are awesome. They helped us do E-bike and lent us headlamps for a night hike. Service 10/10. The only issues encountered had to do with the fact that they re-opened before construction was finished. Firstly, they advised us less than one month before the trip about this fact, so too late to cancel or find something else. I had to strongly complain to Expedia and the property manager. In the end they comped our party’s breakfasts and offered free cancellation if I chose. Secondly, our room the first night was not ready or air conditioned/ventilated, which made sleeping difficult. For this they comped us a shuttle trip to Lake Louise and offered to comp our first night. So overall I was happy they compensated us for the issues. However, at checkout I asked about the first night refund and was told it would be done via Expedia, but it was never done and following up with them after yielded no response. I wish I have got it in writing. Still, I would stay there again, that is how gorgeous this place is.

The moose lodge offered the perfect family vacation spot to celebrate my 50th anniversary. The hotel is very close to restaurants and shops and has a roam bus stop out front. Getting to our destinations whether it be White Sulphur Mt or Lake Louise was never an issue. Three spacious suites housed three immediate families comfortably . The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We would stay here again if in Banff.

Lovely property in Canmore. Spacious. We stayed in a two-bedroom; perfect for our group of 4. Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Gym, Parking were great amenities. Everything was newly renovated; furniture was all new in our rooms. Staff was so nice. The Black Dog cafe right downstairs was excellent. Not exactly walking distance to town, but an easy 5 min drive. We stayed in the summer. I would stay again.

We loved our stay at Falcon Crest! Great location, close to stores and very convenient for the wedding venue and reception we attended. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They even provided makeup remover, which was a nice touch. Our room was spacious with a balcony, full kitchen, dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, and even a grill. We loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

The room wasn’t the cleanest… otherwise it was good. The room was good. The bathroom was super crammed! Don’t need the fancy toilet !
