It was a quick stay to make an early morning flight easier. We checked in at 4, relaxed and used the pool. We got coupons for 2 drinks in the lounge and enjoyed that surprise! There was a shuttle service to the airport but we had to return a rental car so didn't take advantage of it. Everything about our 16 hour stay was delightful!

Great location, walking distance to the shops. The rooftop hot tubs after a long day were absolutely amazing.

The bottom of the pool is textured bumpy cement. My son grazed his knuckles while swimming and it cut all of them open so he had to leave since he was bleeding. Beds were also pretty hard, very sore back in the morning. We appreciated the renovated bed area but bathrooms were still very dated. We liked the large coffee brewer and cream available in the fridge in our room.

We are returning customers and stay at Carriage House when we stay in Calgary. The desk staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and quiet and the location is surrounded by many options for shopping for shopping. You can start your day with an excellent breakfast buffet. The gym, pool, hot tub and sauna are a nice addition. If you enjoy gambling there is a casino on site as well as a pub.

Hotel Parking Experience Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with the parking during our 3-night stay. The hotel charges $15 per night for parking, so we initially chose to park on the street for free. On our first night, we asked the front desk where we could park, and the front desk employee specifically suggested a street behind the hotel where parking was free. The following night, when we couldn't find a spot on that street, we asked if there was another nearby street where we could park. The employee then offered us complimentary hotel parking after seeing that we had our baby with us. We accepted based on what we were told, although we were completely fine with continuing to park on the street. At checkout, however, we were charged the parking fee anyway. We explained the situation several times, but were told that the front desk employee had limited access and that the manager would contact us and refund the charge. Unfortunately, I still haven't heard from the property manager despite calling the hotel twice to follow up. It's not really about the $15 per night. It's about honoring what your staff promised a guest. We were given complimentary parking by the hotel, and after explaining the situation multiple times, we shouldn't have to repeatedly chase the property for a refund. I hope management addresses this and improves communication between the front desk and management.

Lovely property in Canmore. Spacious. We stayed in a two-bedroom; perfect for our group of 4. Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Gym, Parking were great amenities. Everything was newly renovated; furniture was all new in our rooms. Staff was so nice. The Black Dog cafe right downstairs was excellent. Not exactly walking distance to town, but an easy 5 min drive. We stayed in the summer. I would stay again.
