Having the river view room with a balcony really improves the use of the room for relaxing and just hanging out. It so close to everything for walking.

Staff was very nice and accommodating and the property is in the heart of the retail area but also next to the river. It was pretty quiet at night and very convenient for a nice river hike or shopping! It was very hot when we were there and this place does not have air conditioning. Our room did have a fan and that seemed to keep us cool enough.

Although the hotel is a little outdated, it is very clean and the staff is very nice. The location is great, walkable to everyone but quiet at the same time because it is slightly hidden behind the bigger sister hotel and near the river. I plan on returning to Banff and definitely would stay here again.

Hot tub and restaurant are In affiliated hotel across the parking lot. There is no air conditioning available and it is not advisable to leave your patio door open while you sleep because all the patios are linked. You could walk from one side of the building to the other right through every room’s patio. Staff were great.
