I cannot say enough, about how wonderful marine Troon is. For starters, It is a pitching wedge away from Royal Troon golf club for the golfers in the crowd. The course literally passes within 50 feet of Marine Troon! The pool, hot tub steam, and sauna are lovely after a round! But, what makes Marine Troon truly outstanding is the helpfulness, courtesy, professionalism, and kindness of the staff! From the moment I walked in, Gary, Cameron, Grant, June, Nancy, Ethan — too many people to mention are fantastic! Strongly, recommend marine Troon when you find yourself in the area. And they make some delicious cocktails. Notably – the food was outstanding

Conveniently located to train station

Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening. Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon). Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return.

The staff was excellent. The doormen were extremely attentive and courteous and helpful provided a very warm atmosphere. The beds in the room, however, are extremely stiff. Both my wife and my backs were hurting after sleeping. The bathroom was set up well, and the desk working area was away from the beds.

Glenapp was the last stop before home, on our NC500 honeymoon. The staff as always were delightful & very helpful. The welcome is always special here & there were plenty of help to carry all our unorganised belongings to accomodate us all. This time we had our dog with us & Glenapp's policy suited us well, he had a welcom pack & was made extremely comfortable. Our room was spacious & well maintained. We dont expect dogs to be allowed in the restaurant area & the policy was that Ozzy was aloud to stay behind in the room. We ate in the potting shed of the Azalea, We were greeted by Jen, a lovely chatty, bubbly & profesional resturant manager. As we ate early & the other couples didn't have an issue, she very kindly allowed us to have ozzy sitting quietly at our table. It shouldn't be expected but honestly just the small personal touches & personalities is what make your stay special. We will be back to try our the new "Nest" Many Thanks

It's not really set up like a HOTEL but was a corner away from the main street of Glasgow, situated over 2 restaurants,) where the music didn't stop till 3am on fri/sat nights and vibrated through the floors, so that wasn't the best for us, but you get a 20% discount on the food bill at the restaurant under it. Staff and check in were great and easy, we had a 1-bedroom place great size, overlooked the main street, had a bath which i liked, had NO air conditioning but i think most places in UK or Europe don't, so that was okay they had fans. it's well situated to buses and subway not far away at all, the Main Train station, Glasgow Central is 900mtrs away in a straight line

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel feels very new and modern, and the room was beautifully designed with great attention to detail. I also loved the view of the historic buildings just across the street. The location is very convenient, only about a 5-minute walk from the station. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the service throughout my stay was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Address Hotel Glasgow. The hotel was very clean, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Ben, the barman, who was particularly friendly and excellent at his job. He really made us feel welcome. The wellness suite was excellent and a lovely added bonus to our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

This is a lovely hotel in Glasgow City. Very convenient for the centre and using the train network. It was lovely and clean. We didn’t have a breakfast so couldn’t comment on that. Free use of the coffee machine was a nice addition. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I’d recommend for a stay in Glasgow.

The Grand Central Hotel is a beautiful property in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel itself is elegant, clean, and well maintained. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a very unsettling experience. We were assigned an accessible room, and around 3:00 a.m. hotel staff unexpectedly entered our room after receiving an alarm indicating someone had fallen. Although we immediately told them we were fine, they continued walking through the room to verify everything. Being awakened in the middle of the night by strangers entering our room was alarming enough, but I was asleep wearing only a silk nightgown, which made the situation incredibly embarrassing and uncomfortable. While I understand that staff have a duty to respond to emergency alerts, I would have appreciated a greater respect for our privacy once we confirmed that no one needed assistance. The hotel itself is lovely, but this experience significantly impacted what otherwise could have been a wonderful stay.
