Weekend getaways in Braintree

Hotel shuttle would take you to places within 3 miles of hotel. To get to Boston the shuttle took us to train station. From there we road train to Boston downtown where everything was located. Alot of walking. Trolley's downtown but still wear your walking shoes. It rained all day the first day we went to Boston but we continued to stay downtown and went to aquarium/imax, which was a fast walk from train station until we found aquarium. Upon arrival Sunday, At the front desk I was greeted by a Male from Peru wo work at the hotel at the front desk. He was very kind and helpful and most of all very professional. He checks my ID gave me two compliment bottle of water and guided me to the elevators. Pleasantly surprised. Room was super quiet both nights. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. If you are a craft beer drinker and like breweries, there’s one right next door (Widowmaker Brewing) that was outstanding as well and they seem to have food trucks on weekends.

Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen and two TV's. Nice service offered where you can leave a shopping list and they'll stock your fridge. We thought 72 degrees was rather cool but were able to adjust easily. This is my favorite hotel in Boston- wonderful accommodations, friendly and helpful staff, and close to everything. (And super dog friendly!!)

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The little extras like the waters and snacks in the hallway were such a nice touch. It feels like this place cares about you actually coming back.

This was our second time staying here. The room is not huge but has enough storage like drawers under the bed. We got lucky again to get checked in super early which was much appreciated after taking a cross country red-eye flight. The gym at the basement is well equipped. Front desk staff are friendly & very welcoming. I’d highly recommend this place!!

Nice, modern hotel at the seaport. Quiet, walkable area with lots of restaurants and great harbor views. Hotel had spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice views, free good breakfast, rooftop patio with firepits and lots of amenities. Self parking at $15 across the street was fantastic.

we would definitely return to this hotel, it was very clean and it was in a great area, check-in was quick, breakfast buffet was very good. Rooms are small, but efficient and have everything you need
