Weekend getaways in Stone Mountain

Quick little side trip ended up at this fantastic colonial house. Ashley was so helpful with the late check-in and local food spots to try. The room was amazing and the hotel itself is beautiful. The shower was huge and the in-suite hot tub is just what was needed after a long drive. The bed was nice and soft. Adam was inviting in the morning for breakfast and pointed the way to Stone Mountain easier than GPS had me steered. Will definitely be coming back again.

One of the workers name is Pat 😁 would see her every morning for breakfast very friendly, professional everything was very nice and clean.

The hotel is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous scenery, the outdoor pool and jacuzzi were terrific as well as the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The balcony facing the lake was wonderful and made a terrific place to sit late at night and in the early morning to enjoy some coffee and take in the sights. Would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the park. Friendly, helpful staff and a clean outstanding hotel in a beautiful park setting. Highly recommend!

We are a family of six and were travelling with two toddlers and I always worry they may be a but much, but the staff was absolutely amazing with them, and by the end, our youngest girl had made Nicole her friend. The pool was well-maintained and the breakfast was terrific. It is not a fancy hotel, but it was a steal for the price, and the location relative to the Stone Mountain Park was great. If travels took us back that way, we would definitely look this place up again.

Excellent experience. I was greeted by friendly staff when I arrived, exhausted from a very long day of travel.! Was delighted to see a good variety of snacks, beverages, and frozen dinners available so I didn’t have to go out. As a gluten free vegetarian, it was great to see Amy’s Thai noodles! My room was spacious and clean. It was so quiet, I slept for 9 hours! The breakfast selection was more than adequate. The checkout counter staff were friendly. All considered, I would definitely stay...

Fantastic weekend stay at the Candler. The room was large and comfortable as was the big bathroom. Large windows with great light. The on-site restaurant is terrific, which is good because there isn't much else to choose from nearby.

This property was new when I stayed there and it is a great location and beautiful room. I enjoyed the city view and easy access to shopping right across the street. I was attending a festival at Central Park and this was an amazing location for the venue and I was there, even with traffic, in only 5 minutes. I would love to be a frequent guess at Scout! Must Visit if you are on a solo vacation, long-term stay or staycation.
