Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Staff super friendly and did have valet parking (extra cost) overall, great location and easy to find.

I wanted a nice, quiet environment where I could relax without the hustle and bustle a typical beach environment brings. I didn't want vendors bothering me every few moments nor share a beach with 200 other strangers. This is why Capella was an excellent choice! The rooms with a private-edge infinity pool are a must for couples wanting to relax by the pool with a nice drink in hand. We will be back!

It was an amazing and unique experience, one of the best hotels i been to, perfect for couples who want to get away and want something different from the typical hotel experience, very secluded and one of the best views in all acapulco, definitely gonna try and go back as soon as posible.

The location is great with a short 10-15 minute walk to town either by surface street along the canal or the path along the water. Rooms are rustic and comfortable with private deck, hammock, fridge, coffee maker, daily maid service providing bottled water and even nightly turn down service where they replace the flower petals on your bed with something like coconut macaroon cookies. in the afternoons there was a bottle of tequila out for sampling in the lobby. Our stay here was relaxing. From the moment we checked in, the staff was professional, welcoming, and helpful, making sure to explain all the amenities and details clearly. 5min walk to the beach plus restaurants around the corner. I will definitely come again!

Every single member of the staff was friendly, respectful, considerate, and earnest. I have stayed at luxury hotels all over the world, including in Hawaii, and I have never come across a more caring staff. The attitude toward the guest is "this is your home." And when you are there you feel like part of a small family. I wish I had taken more pictures of the staff & I. A very special thanks to Edgar, Huber, and David.

We spent seven full nights at Portofino and it was truly serene. Three things stood out: 1) The staff. Our servers E and A were truly amazing. Sometimes there was a language barrier, but it was more entertaining than a negative. As a US resident visiting a foreign country I don't expect our hosts to automatically speak english and it was actually more authentic to wade through some back and forth. And it wasn't a distraction at all we enjoyed the conversation. They were always checking on...

This property was amazing we wanted to get away and relax and that’s exactly what we did. The restaurant was so good, all the staff were super accommodating and friendly. The only thing I would say is that it is far from anything and we weren’t really informed of any activities that were offered outside of the property

Loved the staff, everyone at the Holiday Inn Isla location are incredible friendly, helpful and professional! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The area is very walkable many great restaurants and shopping near by. Also very close to Barra Vieja beautiful beaches. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Acapulco!

Everything was great during our stay! The staff was amazingly kind and helpful, the hotel is in the main center so it’s close to many main places in Taxco. The one thing I didn’t like was the bed, it was too hard for my comfort. Other than that, everything was great!

Great hotel - nice ambience in room accommodation.....Wifi connection was good....sad the breakfast room was under renovation. Walking distance to numerous churches, chapels , cathedral and park.....lots of silver jewelry stores around the area. We should planned to stay at least 2 days in Taxco - will visit this place again.
