The hotel needs a facelift. We stayed there in 2020 and was under construction, was thinking that it would be nicer but I really didn't see an improvement to the hotel. The kiddy pool was open this time around, however they didn't have a kids club like other resorts do.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a great spacious Junior suite. Centrally located for easy shopping and alternate dining options. There were plenty of chaise lounge chairs on the beach and this beach area now features shade from umbrellas and tarp coverings to protect from the hot afternoon sun. Dinner events of the Noche Mexicana and the Parrillada Night were superb with plenty of tasty choices in a fabulous outdoor setting overlooking the beach. Reception area could benefit from more staff as they seem overworked but they were always friendly and efficient.

Great location within walking distance to some great restaurants. Nice to see so many Mexican families staying at Emporio. Only suggestion is to provide some “real” coffee at the little shop in the hotel - it’s now the same drip coffee served at breakfast even though it’s called Americano….

The location is excellent (probably the top plus for Emporio). Mattresses are great. Staff is responsive & polite. We did all inclusive & the food overall was good. The Italian restaurant was great. Activity department is a negative, no involvement & music very very loud at the pool. Personally I would like to see no day passes because it certainly crowds the pool. The day passes for anyone to come for the day is definite negative
