Without a doubt, this is a amazing hotel, we felt like the staff was welcoming their family. I honestly couldn't think of anything that wasn't fine. Location is convenient to Duke Hospital, short drive, but is a world away from the crazy traffic around the hospital. I am so glad I decided on this hotel.

From the moment I walked in the door the staff was friendly & inviting. It was a busy weekend and the entire staff was very helpful and courteous.
Rooms are big and clean. Very very good experience!

Definitely enjoyed our stay! Much nicer than expected. Stayed only one night, the DPAC and many restaurants were very close. Great breakfast as wrll! I would definitely recommend!

This boutique property is located in the historic tobacco district of Durham, NC and is attached to the Durham Performing Arts Center, where we were attending a concert upon their re-opening night. With plenty of restaurants within walking distance and parking adjacent to the hotel, this is the perfect spot to park your car for the day and get your steps in.
The hotel itself is clean, quiet and modern with perfect amenities for a nights stay, including a small pool and gym, a nice bar area...

Really enjoyed this property. The room and common areas were clean and well maintained. The breakfast options were fabulous - would definitely stay again.

My husband had eye surgery the morning we had to check in. We went to the University Inn hours before check in to pay for our room; which we realized would not be ready. But the wonderful woman at the front desk said she would call us when the room was ready; and she did! It was a relief for my husband to get in the room and rest after his procedure. That was going above and beyond!

Lots of space for my family of 5. We only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. Loved the walk in closet, separate toilet room from shower. There was also an indoor pool which my boys enjoyed. Check in was easy and the lady who checked us in was so wonderful and helpful, I wish I remembered her name but I think it started with an S. Thank you for a great stay!

We were given a room that was occupied and immediately returned to the front desk. The response should have been, "I'm so sorry, let me take care of that" or "sorry for the inconvenience", but instead, the room was called to verify that it was occupied. It was late at night, we were tired, and the last thing we needed to do was to walk back to the front desk! Do better, please.

The hotel is very conveniently located for most things in Durham. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful all of the time. They were all quite courteous and helped make our stay enjoyable. We were there for eight nights so we were able to get a much better feel for the staff and the amenities they provided. If we needed a few copies of something run off, or asked for anything they responded immediately with a smile. If people went in for breakfast close to the 10:00 am cutoff they...
